Fiber Optic Repeater is designed to
improve capacity and wireless environment
in CDMA, WCDMA, and GSM consisting of
Master and Slave units. Master is installed
in BTS and Slave is installed in slave
cell site where additional coverage
is needed. Master receives RF signal
and converts into optic signal through
WDM function and transmit it to Slave
via Fiber Optic cable. It provides seamless
coverage in tunnels, mountain valleys,
metro, rural area and other remote areas
with economic operation cost. In certain
circumstances, this optic repeater may
prove an excellent complementation to
BTS.
